A renowned regional contractor is seeking a competent Site Manager to take lead on their new build and refurbishment projects in Greater Manchester. Project is valued at £6M within the Education sector framework and is the perfect opportunity for a positive leader to make a lasting impact in the Northwest region. There are expectations for innovative environmental features with this scheme that will continue the transformation of the facility.
The role:
The primary task will be to oversee and coordinate the site from inception to completion ensuring all personnel adhere to Health and Safety procedures. You will be manging the subcontractors and be the main point of contact taking lead on daily operations and tracking progress and ensuring high quality output on site.
Minimum requirements:
• Previous experience in Education sector framework taking sites from inception to completions. Extensions, refurbishments, and new buildings experience will be welcomed.
• Committed to Health and Safety on site and to Positive Safety Leadership
• Confident leader with the ability to direct and motivate a team to produce efficient results
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experienced in delivering projects through to successful completion
• Confident in reviewing and updating programmes and work schedules
• Trade background, Carpentry, Joinery or Bricklaying background ideal
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
