Are you a site manager with experience of managing new build retail stores from ground works to completion?
I am currently recruiting for a site manger on a PAYE basis , on behalf of a main contractor who build on behalf of some of the UK's largest property investment companies, specialising in the build of retail , commercial and leisure projects with values up to £8m .
Due to strong order book going into 2021, the contractor are looking to hire a manager on a permanent basis to oversee projects in either the south east of England to include counties such as Hampshire, Surrey , Kent . In addition, the contractor is tendering for work in the West Midlands and Manchester.
It is therefore essential that you are prepared to work away from home and need to be flexible as to where you work .
The contractor is looking for site managers who have experience in either new build retail stores , retail parks , warehouses , distribution centres or car showrooms , with values not exceeding £8m.
It is important to the contractor that the site manager can demonstrate continuity of work with throughout their career and can demonstrate a track record of delivering projects in the above sectors.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety compliance
- Site inductions
- Coordinating sub-contractors and site labour
- Ordering materials
- Reporting to visiting contract manager
It is also essential that site manager need to hold a CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid.
In return the contractor is offering a competitive salary, vehicle, or car allowance. Obviously, they will pay for accommodation and an allowance for working away.
