Role overview:
Are you a skilled and experienced Piling Supervisor looking for a unique opportunity to lead a team in the installation of rotary bored piles at a submarine base?
Our client is seeking a talented and knowledgeable individual to join their team and contribute to some groundbreaking projects. As a Piling Supervisor, you will not only oversee the piling operations but also utilize your expertise in other ground engineering techniques, such as soil nailing, ground anchors, and different types of grouting. Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of piling personnel in the safe and efficient installation of, initially, rotary bored piles before moving on to other techniques.
• Manage all aspects of the piling process, including planning, scheduling, and coordination with other trades on-site.
• Utilize your extensive experience in ground engineering to implement soil nailing, ground anchor, and grouting techniques as required for the project.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and relevant regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as a Piling Supervisor, with a focus on rotary bored piles and other ground engineering techniques.
• Familiarity with soil nailing, ground anchors, and different types of grouting, demonstrating the ability to apply these techniques effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships.
• Sound problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
• A commitment to safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in piling and ground engineering are highly desirable.
