Anderselite are currently recruiting for a Senior / Lad Planner in Southampton. This role is on behalf of a tier one contractor and we are looking to have someone start ASAP.

Contract value circa: £100M
Salary £450-500 per day (negotiable)
Construction start: immediately
Current Completion Date: July 2025 – for the right, high quality candidate, the assignment could be for the project duration
Contract conditions: NEC3 Option C

Project is working on a design and build utilities scheme circa £100mil, plant improvement schemes consisting of : demolition, piling, significant pipework installation of diameters 450mm > 1200mm, power and comms ducting, access roads, multiple below ground tanks, utilising heavy civils temporary works, complete with infrastructure and inspection galleries, process building construction and fit out, inlet works, cross site MEICA to all new elements, including test, commission and integration.

As this role is design and construct within the water industry environment, water industry experience is desirable. The programme is operated on P6, however other programme communication tools will also be required to be produced, predominately from the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Candidate profile :

Excellent communicator who is able to take the lead with client interfaces, has strong leadership, management, and problem solving skills.
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic individual who has a collaborative approach with good attention to detail.
Proven capability working on NEC3 contracts and extensive experience of P6.
Operational civil engineering experience prior to moving into a planning role is also highly desired.

You will need to develop and monitor the main works target cost programme, with the detailed design as and when it is received, with close working with the operations team made of agents, engineers and foremen.

Previous water experience is also desired, or heavy civils projects.
