Anderselite are currently looking for a Senior Environmental Coordinator to be based in central Cardiff for a consultancy who will work closely with the Environmental and Engineering team to develop, review, and oversee water, wastewater, solid waste, and air quality management programs to support permitting and compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties include
• Work with the technical team to incorporate engineering and technical data into permit applications, and to complete data reports to support permitting.
• Work with Environmental department to develop, maintain, and oversee site water and wastewater systems.
• Coordinate and manage specialty subcontractors and project manage accordingly
• Develop/provide expertise in the field of air emissions and controls and EIAs
• Develop/provide expertise in the field of water quality and water management and compliance.
• Review and approve technical documents, as required to support permitting.
• Lead role in developing and managing an Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure permit compliance.
• Participate in regulatory meetings and represent the Company for environmental related issues.
• Participate in community engagement efforts to explain environmental concepts to stakeholders.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Relevant qualification in environmental engineering, engineering, air or environmental sciences, or related field.
• 2-5 years experience in environmental engineering, environmental science, or compliance
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical aspects of water quality, waste management, and reclamation requirements.
• Knowledge of Autocad, GIS, Excel & Access and other engineering design tools a plus.
