A large main contractor requires a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team and work across multiple projects and coordinate all engineering functions to ensure each project is technically accurate and commercially in line with the client’s requirements.

This office-based role in Salford Quays has a flexible working model, and you will be required to manage all labour/direct material matters and oversee the production of drawing layouts to ensure coordination.

Summary of your role:
• Ensure full compliance with company IPCD, Company Process Document & ensure all procurement packages are technically vetted.
• Co-ordinate the services for their proper integration into the building and liaise with other disciplines.
• Provide support to the Project Surveyor on commercial matters and provide support to the Site Manager on installation matters
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Ongoing audit of Productivity Scheme & ensure the same is completed with the Site Manager
• Progressing the site production report on site with the Site Manager (PC07)
• Use technical submission process (PD09) to manage technical and progress issues relating to Plant and Sub-Contractor elements.
• Maintain Procurement Schedule (PD07) Technical Submission (PD09), Drawing Registers (PD01, PD02, PD03)
• Ongoing Sub-Contract Project review with Site manager to plan, progress and monitor installations

You will be required to issue the following reports:
• Monthly: Subcontract Reviews, Project Reviews, PC10 and PC09
• Weekly: PC07
• MDI

What we require from you?
• Ability to work across multiple projects at once.
• Minimum 3 years experience within M&E sector at managerial level.
• Previous experience working in Healthcare or Education sectors.
• Relevant Degree qualification.
• Understanding and coordination of MEP design/systems.
• Ability to plan, report, organise and project manage, especially in relation to technical output.
