Anderselite are recruiting for a Senior CAD Technician on a freelance basis in Central London for a tier 1 contractor in the Highways division.


Rate: £25 - £33 per hour umbrella PAYE (inside IR35)

Essential:
Strong CAD skills for Highway Designs
Ability to effectively use Autodesk software’s
Highways Design Experience

The Role
As part of a design team you will be responsible for developing schemes drawings from conception through to construction stage. You will provide support and advice to the team and help coordinate the delivery of projects for a growing number of TfL Projects around London.
You will be involved in feasibility studies, preliminary design and detailed design work together with the production of traffic management drawings in support of the construction team.
Duties include working at a Senior CAD technician level relating to the production of construction design drawings, plans and schematics as working on the TfL STIC and HMPF contracts.

Key Accountabilities:
• Production of CAD drawings using established company CAD standards
• Production of Traffic Management drawings to Chapter 8 Requirements
Essential Requirements
• Experience with AutoCAD, Autotrack, Key signs, Key post & Key Lines necessary.
• Some awareness of 3D CAD Civils
• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• 5 years minimum experience on highway design projects
The position is on a contract basis only and you will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate. You must have professional experience of working as a CAD Technician within an engineering consultancy environment.
