Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 Per annum
Job Description
Job Duties:
- To manage the budget and contractual relationships of the companies’ projects
- Ensure all projects and sub-contracts are kept in line with programme and tendered budgets
- Identify and weigh up all commercial risks
- Managebudgets and overseeing payment and ensure all projects reach the correct standards.
- Provide weekly and monthly data to meet KPI’s, monitoring and reporting on trends to inform the business
- Any other duties assigned in line with the scope and seniority of the role
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practises and processes.
- Excellent numerical and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience working on environmental and waste projects.
- Understanding of the current NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
- Negotiation skills and evidence-based reporting
Working Conditions:
- Office-based work with occasional site visits.
- Full-time hours, with potential for overtime during project deadlines.
- Travel may be required to visit project sites.
