Quality Assurance Manager required for large construction main contractor based in Manchester.

Working exclusively in the Construction industry we are looking for an experienced QA Manager to oversee the management and implementation of business certification schemes, be responsibile for the quality and environmental practices and procedures, and continually improveme existing systems to address defect management and avoidance.

You will be working for a large Main contractor, who specialise in high rise residential projects in city centre locations.

Key experience required:

Experienced in the construction industry, ideally with new build experience
Knowledgeable within ISO 9001
Able to work independently and implement new processes and procedures
An experienced quality auditor

The Quality Assurance Manager will:

Implement an ISO 9001 quality management system
Review current process, amend and implement within the business
Conduct quality audit processes and carry out a site audit
Record information and write reports
Carry out vetting of supply chain
Review training programme and ensure workforce is up to date with training
Ensure ISO 9001 is maintained
Report to the Managing Director
