Anderselite are currently recruiting for a Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a tier one contractor in Bury St Edmonds.
Work will be commencing in 4-6 weeks and will be working on a £30mil 2 stage tender. The employer wishes to have the design and construction of the following work carried out:

a) Site infrastructure/ enabling works
b) Management and coordination of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) works
c) Forming the structure of the mill, warehouse, offices and other ancillary buildings
associated to the project
d) Mill, warehouse, offices and ancillary fit out including Mechanical and Electrical works
e) External works

What we look for in you:

Preferable 10 years’ experience working on fast-track design and build type projects comprising steel frame standalone office accommodation associated external works including extensive attenuation drainage, external service yards and Car parking areas. Some Civils experience would be useful also. The applicant would be capable of running all the commercial elements of the project up to value of £35m including s/c procurement, cost control, CVR, Client interface/liaison/managing variations working closely with the Project Manager on site. He/she would be site-based reporting to Commercial Manager.
Salary would be upwards from £65k - £68k plus package/bonus
