My client is a fast-growing modular build company based in Cheshire, they are working on various projects within the healthcare sector and the NHS framework, with projects ranging from £5Million to £15Million, a leading force in the offsite modular building industry.
They are looking for a QS to look after one of their modular building sites. They are a national contractor .

This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in projects centring around modular build within the health sector. They have recently successfully won a number of projects in the modular build sector. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious company. Duties
General quantity surveying details
Working on projects within a framework
Performing risk, value management and cost control
Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
Subcontractor payments
Valuations
Managing cash flows / budgets
Generating detailed monthly project P&L reports
Submitting and negotiating final accounts
Providing advice on contractual claims
Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use

Candidate
Experience in a construction-based role
Fit out preferred not essential
Able to manage own sites independently
Strong numeracy and financial management skills
The ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people
Negotiating and team-working skills

Salary
£50,000 - £55,000
