We are seeking an enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor to work under the direction of the Building Design Team Manager to provide a full quantity surveying service, provide contract adminsitration and contractural advice on projects from inception to completion. This will include management and control of project budgets and management of the YORBuild and RCP construction frameworks responsible for the delivery of multi-million pound contracts across the Yorkshire and Humber Region.
Must have:
- Excellent computer literate
- Extensive knowlodege of NEC (Examples required)
- Good Knowledge in cost estimating, planning and insurance valuations and extensive knowledge in various forms of building contracts
- Extensive working knowledge and experience in contract administration, contract documents, cost monitoring and contract management.
- Imperative to have the ability in working independently, under pressure to deadlines.
- Chartered status
- Qualified to Degree level or Equivalent level of knowledge through work experience
