Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable General Operative to support daily operations on a busy quarry site. The role involves assisting with the use of a loading shovel, cleaning, washing down equipment, and carrying out general site maintenance to ensure the work environment remains clean, safe, and operational.

This is a hands-on role, ideally suited to someone with previous experience working in heavy industry or construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and washing down plant, equipment, and general work areas

• Assisting with basic site maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors

• Ensuring correct use of PPE and tools provided

Requirements

• MP Connect registration (essential)

• Loading Shovel Ticket

• Manual Handling training
