Maintenance Operative
Location: Accrington
Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative with a solid electrical background to join our team in Accrington. This role is varied and hands-on, with a strong focus on keeping our facilities safe, compliant and fully operational.

The Role

Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs

Testing and maintaining fire alarm systems to regulatory standards

Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks

Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard

The Person

Qualified in electrical installation or maintenance (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)

Proven experience in testing and maintaining fire alarms

Knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, joinery and repairs is an advantage

Must hold an Enhanced DBS due to working in care facilities for young vulnerable children and adults

Strong problem-solving skills and able to work independently
