About the Company -
We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a reputable sub-contractor who specialise in asset maintenance for concrete structures. The Group deliver proven and cost-effective refurbishment options which meet their clients' objectives of upgrading and extending the life of their structure.

They are looking for an individual who has a passion for delivering projects, is adept with working as part of a team and is also committed to helping to ensure that further opportunities for the company continue to arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks, civils, infrastructure, and general construction.

About the Role -
The role will be based out of their divisional office in Mitcham, but you will not be required to work in the office every day you can be based from home or on site when required. You will be covering the South East of England with majority of the work across Kent, Sussex & Surrey.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction contracts for the company in accordance with company objectives and procedures. You will also be responsible for the safety, security and management of contracts staff, subcontractors and others engaged on multiple contracts for the company

Key Duties -
Managing multiple contracts to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental targets
Pre- contract planning and liaison with estimators
Providing quality input to regional management and planning meetings
Compiling contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and other instructions to contract teams
Delegating duties to engineering and contract staff
Accepting, approving, and issuing orders and instructions
Maintaining a working knowledge of current contract forms, acts and legislation
Accepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts
Ensure company Health and Safety and other IMS procedures are complied with

It is envisaged that the ideal candidate will have the following -
Civils’ infrastructure experience (Required)
Reinforced Concrete experience (Ideally)
Proven longevity at a contractor
5 years plus experience as a Project/Contracts Manager
