Purpose of the Role

To be part of and lead site teams in the safe execution of site operations, thereby maximising sales and profitability for the project. The role is varied and will require a degree of self-motivation and good client liaison skills.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operational control and management of contracts, with an outlook to ensuring on time delivery in line with the provisions made under the order.
• Notifying Clients of variations and resulting commercial implications.
• RAMS & ITP preparation and implementation of safe systems of working.
• Site visits and inspections to better recognise areas of site/job improvement, risk allocation and hazard mitigation.
• Steering site based activities so as to ensure compliance with method statements, design and specification.
• As-built record management, to include physical back-ups, and monitoring of construction progress and efficiency.
• Experience of evaluating tender enquiries from several outlooks, including commercial risk, value engineering and operational delivery.
• Pursuing resolutions to non-conformance requests, design changes as well as plant equipment malfunctions/breakdowns.
• Submission of method statements, calculations, design drawings, installation records and testing reports to client/consultant.
• Ordering and planning critical material deliveries, to include piles, kentledge test blocks, reaction frame anchors etc.
