Pay: Competitive hourly rate + mileage allowance (van provided)

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected social housing provider in Leeds for a dependable and motivated Cleaning Operative. This is a great opportunity to join a team committed to maintaining safe and welcoming environments for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning void properties to prepare them for new tenants
• Maintaining communal areas across housing sites
• Carrying out basic fire alarm testing and emergency lighting checks
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence – travel between sites is required
• Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance
• Basic understanding of fire safety and emergency lighting systems (training can be provided)
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 37 hours
• Full-time hours (some flexibility may be required)
