We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to work for our client, a well known construction company that is wanting to broaden their client base in the UK.
We are looking for an experienced business development manager from the civil engineering sector that can create new leads and business opportunities to help drive the next phase of growth for the company.
ole & Responsibilities:
* Your ultimate goal is to introduce our business to new clients (outside of our existing relationships and framework contracts), creating new opportunities to secure civil engineering renewals and maintenance projects to drive the next phase of growth for the business.
* Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take the lead role in shaping our work winning strategy, identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other means to develop new strategic partnerships.
* Take the lead on sales and new client relationship management, tracking planned infrastructure investment and new markets to identify work opportunities.
* Work closely with the estimating team to actively support the bidding process for new clients.
Candidates will ideally be strong communicators, confident and personable with a collaborative approach to work. You will have a proven track record of work winning in the civil engineering, infrastructure/rail sectors and ideally hold a relevant qualification.
