Hours: Flexible Working, Appoximately 25hrs per week. (3 Full days Tues to Thurs or shorter days spread throughout the week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide crucial support to our Supply Chain Compliance Officer. This role is central to the management and maintenance of our Supply Chain Database (SCD), ensuring an efficient, effective, and compliant supply chain. The successful candidate will communicate with the supply chain to administer compliance documents, liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate the compliance process, and assist in delivering the necessary procurement reports.

This part-time position requires focus and dedication in a dynamic environment, offering both challenge and reward. The role is integral to the successful operation of our department, offering the opportunity to influence key supply chain data that feeds into our procurement team's decision-making and departmental KPIs, supporting both procurement and broader business strategies in sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of compliance documentation within the SCD.
  • Manage email communications and handle phone calls, directing queries as necessary.
  • Proactively monitor and engage with the supply chain to manage supplier approval expiries.
  • Support the collation and distribution of supply chain data, aiding department KPIs.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to expedite the approval process across the supply chain.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and management of KPIs related to the Social Impact and Sustainability agenda.

Systems and Database Management:

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in data input into the SCD.
  • Assist in the administration of the interface for supplier compliance.

Who We Are Looking For:

Essential:

  • Experience with high-volume administrative duties.
  • Ability to meet specific deadlines.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong grasp of the importance of accurate data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and take ownership of workloads.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with all levels of personnel and stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a compliance environment.
