Water Networks (Leakage) Technician - Hampshire

Anderselite are currently recruiting on behalf of our client Ancala Water Services for a field-based Water Networks (Leakage) Technician to cover a number of sites throughout the Hampshire & Wiltshire region. Ancala Water Services deliver water and waste water services to over 1,100 sites throughout England and Wales including the £1billion 25-year Aquatrine A contract delivering water, wastewater, fire system maintenance and specialist estate management services to the Ministry of Defence.
In this role, the Water Networks (Leakage) Technician will carry out planned and reactive work to minimise leakage from the water network assets. This is achieved by leakage detection campaigns utilising a variety of techniques (listening, correlation, step testing, acoustic logging etc).
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Knowledge of water supply configurations and hydraulics.
- Technical expertise in all methods used to account for water network usage.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment such as leak detection equipment, acoustic logging equipment and competence in pipe tracing equipment.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to innovate and adapt in difficult situations.
- Good communication and relationship skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and be able to pass required security clearance checks.
