Water Hygiene Operative
Surrey / Guildford Area
Earnings: £26,000 - £30,000 Per Annum + Package
Our client is currently looking to hire an experienced Water Hygiene Operative, open to consider both contract, temp to perm and permanent hires.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining water systems to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, while also providing exceptional customer service. You will primarily work in the Guildford area, with occasional travel to other locations within your allocated region, specialising in legionella control and water treatment services.
Duties will include:
- Conduct water monitoring and associated tasks at various locations
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues as needed
- Assist with tank cleaning and chlorinations as required
- Adhere to safety standards while working in the field
Candidates will ideally have:
- Full UK driving licence
- City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training (preferred)
- Experience with servicing TMVs (preferred)
- Knowledge of domestic water systems
- Proficiency with computers and smartphones
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and guidance material (ACoP L8, HTM: 0401, Water Regulations, BS 8580) is preferred, but not required as full training will be provided.
