Anderselite are working on behalf of one of the leading wholesale food service provider in the UK. They deliver 1.5 million products to thousands of restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools and hospitals throughout the UK.

As a Route Planner you will help to keep the network running, finding solutions to enable customer expectations and smooth deliveries.

6 MONTH CONTRACT FTC

Shifts:
Sunday to Thursday 11am - 7pm

Duties:

- Day to day route planning and scheduling - achieve set KPI targets
- Ensure vehicle utilization within budgetary targets to achieve set service levels.
- Provide reports to meet deadlines
- Driver/Telesales/Sales liaison
- Customer service
- Ensure scheduling compliance with current vehicle and tachograph legislation
- Compliance with Health & Safety and Hygiene legislation

The candidate:

-Route planning experience, preferably within a multi drop delivery business
-Excellent administration and communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines
-Experience using Transport management planning systems and implementation of those systems
-Proficient computer skills - Word & Excel
-Knowledge of driver working time directive regulations
-Good geographical knowledge of London and the surrounding areas (radius 50 miles) preferable
