Qualifications:

Minimum BEng Civil or Structural Engineering plus Chartership with ICE or IStructE

Good knowledge of CDM and health and safety legislation and competent in exercising the designer's
obligations of CDM as a minimum.

Experience:

 Previous experience working as a Civils CRE (Design) on projects, Temporary Works CRE (Design)
highly desirable.

 Temporary works design and implementation associated with rail projects.

 Including but not exclusively: earthwork stability, retaining structures, formwork, working platforms,
scaffolding.

 Previous experience working for a Contractor preferred

Description of Duties:

 Undertake CRE responsibilities for Temporary Works

 Provide technical support for temporary works designs
