Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to oversee the planning, design, and execution of temporary structures and works associated with railway civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of temporary works throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Develop and implement robust temporary works designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide technical expertise to ensure the safety and stability of temporary structures.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to coordinate temporary works activities.
• Review and approve temporary works designs and method statements.
• Monitor and inspect temporary works installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Provide guidance and support to site teams regarding temporary works issues.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to temporary works coordination.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator in railway civil engineering projects.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and temporary works design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
