Are you a sub agent or, with experience working on water or civil projects? Here at Anderselite, we are recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor who are reputable and well-renowned.

Our client has asked us to identify sub agents who are driven, excellent communication skills, assertive and can push projects forward, and maintain high levels of professionalism.

Duties include:
• Co-ordinate and control initial set-up, the ongoing construction site activities, actively installing GTb SWP’s systems and procedures.
• Rigorously apply effective planning techniques, method analysis and controls to ensure the most effective and continuous use of GTb SWP resources and sub-contractors.
• Assist the Site Manager, to plan, co-ordinate, maintain and develop staff and operative levels to effectively undertake current and prospective workloads.
• Participate and actively encourage both training courses and on the job training
• Monitor and record individual performances encouraging and disciplining as and when necessary.
• Keep abreast of employment law and regulations.
• Provide members of the site team with clear job descriptions defining responsibilities.
• Administer the valuation system in conjunction with the commercial department, maximising cash collection and profitability.
• Implement strict financial controls on the payment of subcontractors, suppliers and operatives.
• Produce data as required to facilitate accurate reporting for inclusion in Management Board Papers.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with all GALLIFORD TRY functions to support the overall business objectivesSecurity
• Appraise the security risk to all GALLIFORD TRY property under your control and install security levels commensurate to the relative values.
• As Sub Agent, you will undertake the role of the Site Safety Supervisor as appropriate and actively maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with the GTb SWP safety Policies. You will also ensure the GTb SWP commissioning, HS&E and Construction Management Plans are fully implemented and maintained.
• Recognise that Health and Safety considerations are central to all tasks and contribute to ensuring safe working environment for all.
• Actively support the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with GALLIFORD TRY’s Safety Policies
• Work to Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Ensure compliance to all HS&E policies and procedures
The successful candidate will have:
• Minimum of 3 years site management experience – preferably in the water and wastewater industry
• HND/HNC or degree (IMecE)
• SMSTS/SSSTS
• First Aid
• CSCS
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Excellent IT Skills – with experience of using PowerPoint, excel, outlook and use of the internet.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills with drive and focus to deliver results through teams.
