The award-winning modular building and construction company is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their innovative team. About the role:
The Site Manager is responsible for coordinating the site labour and oversees the projects to ensure that everyone on-site is working safely and to the highest standard. Building strong relationships with sub-contractors and clients is key as the Site Manager will be working closely with both. This involves carrying out meetings with the client to ensure that their requirements are being met. The role relies heavily on liaising with clients, the sales office, and colleagues.

The successful candidate will carry out frequent inspections when required and organise construction materials to ensure that the project is completed effectively with sufficient caution. The Site Manager ensures that the project is set to be completed for handover and communicates this well with the team. Being on-site and physically present is expected to effectively monitor the project and be on-hand to help the team. It is essential that all work is completely compliant with all Health and Safety regulations, involving risk assessments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise all sub-contractors and monitor the project
Preparing and implementing project plans
Report manufacturing issues and assist in resolving them
Familiar with contract-specifications, method statements, and risk assessments
Ensure that the site is maintaining the highest standards of Health and Safety
Preparation of site documents (e.g., purchase orders)
Coordinating handovers after successful completion of project
Liaising with sub-contractors and clients throughout the project

Experience in the construction industry
Outstanding communication skills
Client-facing experience
Precision and thoroughness
Time-management skills

Essential: Black CSCS card
Relevant construction qualification
First Aid
5-10 years’ experience in site management
