Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the on-site implementation of the wastewater treatment works project.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor progress against project milestones and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
• Supervise the installation of a new storm tank and associated infrastructure to increase storage capacity and reduce untreated discharges.
• Oversee the installation of chemical dosing units and other processes to decrease Phosphorus levels in treated wastewater.
• Ensure modernisation of existing assets is performed to high standards and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and client policies.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage a diverse team of construction workers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork.
• Liaise with the client’s project manager and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Provide regular updates and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Engage with local stakeholders to ensure transparency and positive community relations.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions.
• Monitor environmental impacts and ensure precautions are taken to protect the local ecosystem.
