Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee our projects based in Derby. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in commercial and industrial construction projects. The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Supervise and lead construction teams, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets the required standards.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
Keep accurate records of project progress, expenses, and documentation.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity on site.
Requirements:


Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, preferably in commercial and industrial construction projects.
Valid Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.

CSCS 
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
