Are you a skilled and experienced Site Manager seeking an exciting opportunity in Durham? Look no further! We have the perfect position just for you.

Join our team at Northumbrian Water, a leading company in the water and wastewater industry, and showcase your expertise in civil engineering and site management. As a freelance Site Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various construction projects throughout the Durham region.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects in Durham, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and project managers, to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate corrective measures.

Manage and optimize the utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize project efficiency.

Keep accurate records of project progress, milestones, and any deviations from the original plan.

Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably within the civil engineering or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality assurance.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project demands and deadlines.
