Site Manager - Hospital Extension and Refurbishment
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Type: Contract
Start Date: June 2023
Rate: £250 - £300 per day (CIS payment)

Job Description:
A leading contractor is seeking an organised, technically minded, and client facing Site Manager to oversee a Hospital extension and refurbishment project in Bolton. Your role will involve managing trades on site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining project schedules and budgets, and ensuring that all works are carried out to the required standards.
The project is scheduled to run till 2024.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate trades on site, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Adhere to health and safety requirements, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel
Monitor project schedules and budgets, taking proactive measures to address any issues that may arise
Ensure that all construction works are executed to the required standards and specifications
Liaise with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries
Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, site records, and safety inspections
Collaborate with the project team to resolve any technical or logistical challenges that may impact project delivery
Conduct regular site meetings, fostering effective communication and coordination among stakeholders
Uphold the companys professional image and reputation through a presentable appearance and conduct
Requirements:
Previous experience in Hospital extension and refurbishment projects is essential
Valid SMSTS and CSCS Card
Engineering background
First Aid certification is required
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Reliable and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
