Experience: Proven experience in medium to heavy fabrications and welding procedures. NVQ or equivalent qualification required.

Site Work and Installation: Demonstrable experience in site work and installation.

Teamwork: Strong teamworking skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.

Health and Safety: Must hold a valid CSCS Card.

Driving: Valid driving licence required.

Forklift Licence (Desirable): Experience operating a forklift is advantageous.

Job Title: Site Fabricator/Welder

About The Role:

The Site Fabricator is responsible for on-site installation, working from drawings supplied by the office team and adhering to company processes. The role involves completing audits, contributing to the annual stock check, and working as part of the fabrications operations team to provide full operational support across the business.

Daily Duties Include:

On-Site Operations: Attend sites as instructed by the Fabrication Ops Manager, complete on-site installations and fabrication work as per controlled documents and specified tolerances.

Other Duties: Provide support to the Fabrication Workshop during busy periods.

Commercial: Produce daily timesheets detailing working hours and job numbers, maintain accurate stock levels, report stock issues, complete stock audits, and support annual stock checks.

Health and Safety: Comply with depot risk assessments, report accidents and near misses, use correct PPE, and maintain excellent levels of housekeeping.

Quality: Ensure works are carried out in accordance with company processes, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain good communication with the office team and management.

Key Measures & Targets:

Completing work within agreed timescales.

Waste reduction.

Person Specification:

Essential: Experience in medium to heavy fabrications and welding procedures (NVQ or equivalent), site work and installation experience, attention to detail, teamworking skills, CSCS Card, qualified in plasma/oxy cutting equipment, driving licence.

Desirable: Forklift licence, experience operating an overhead crane.
