Site Engineer – Northwest Projects
Type: Full time 45 hrs per week
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus package inclusive of car allowance
Location: Northwest
Start Date: ASAP

A Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team on a full-time basis ensuring accurate specifications and dimensions on structural frames and groundworks across several projects. This includes starting the project by figuring out where things should go using maps, checking that all the measurements and details for things like the ground, structure, and outer parts are accurate. You’ll also ensure there are proper quality checks in compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Setting out and dimensional control of groundworks, structural frames etc
• Take the lead in solving on site problems that come up.
• Manage a Technical Apprentice.
• Adhere to the company's way of managing business.
• Make sure the project follows the contract rules and keep all records.

Requirements:
• Technically savvy with experience utilising modern instruments for accurate dimensions.
• Degree qualified in construction or a similar related field (essential)
• Completed a Safety Level 1 course.
• Have the right CSCS Card.
• Have lots of experience working as a Site Engineer for a main contractor.
• Previous experience as a Graduate or Trainee Site Engineer.
• Good at talking to people and getting your point across.
• Can think on your feet to solve problems.
• Know how to plan and manage your time well.
• Pay attention to the small details.
