SITE ENGINEER - RAIL - NORTH WEST - PERMANENT

Site Engineer currently required to join a well established Network Rail main contractor in the North West.  The contractor has recently secured a large amount of work on the CP7 framework, which will involve Civil Engineering packages, structure renewals, P-Way upgrades and multi-disciplinary works.  They require an experienced Site Engineer, with a background in Rail & Civil Engineering to deliver these works.

 

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering or Construction
  • Minimum 3 years post qualified experience - ideally with a rail contractor
  • Current & valid PTS card
  • Excellent understanding of Network Rail standards & practices 

 

The role will involve:

  • Overseeing all civil engineering requirements associated with an ongoing Rail project
  • Working through project design requirements
  • Management of sub-contractor workload on site
  • Liaison with the Project Agent and Site Manager to coordinate works
  • Completion of project documentation including Work Package Plans, Health & safety files and handover documents
