Freelance site engineer required for 6 month contract with Main contractor based on site in Edinburgh.

Project is a re-cladding scheme so recent experience of facades and cladding would be an advantage.

We are looking for a Degree qualified, site engineer with SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications to:

• Carry out surveys of facade/exterior of the buidling via manual methods.
• Draw up the survey, ideally on CAD.
• Develop a detail from the survey for suppliers and sub-contractors off site to comment on and develop/design from.
• Some Supervision of sub contractors will be required
• Ability to use fieldview, to carry out some of the regular surveillances. would be an advantage.

You will be working with an experienced site based team. This project is scheduled to complete in June 2024.
