Site Engineer – York
As a Site Engineer on the Yorkshire Water Framework, this project will run for the duration of AMP 7. You will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a new service reservoir project. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance are met throughout all construction phases. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project and make a meaningful impact on water supply systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your engineering expertise to oversee and manage all construction activities related to the new service reservoir, including excavation, concrete pouring, structural work, and associated infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure construction work adheres to industry standards and specifications.
- Prioritize and enforce strict health and safety protocols to protect the well-being of all project personnel, contractors, and the environment.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is executed within budget and schedule constraints.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site records, progress reports, and any necessary engineering drawings or plans.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, permits, and Yorkshire Water's specifications.
- Identify and resolve any technical or construction-related issues promptly to minimize project delays and disruptions.
- Promote sustainable construction practices and minimize the environmental impact of the project.
