Position Overview: As a Freelance Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing rail infrastructure projects in Huddersfield. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our rail projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage all aspects of rail infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of all personnel on site.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and specifications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Site Supervision: Oversee site activities, monitor progress, and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and site records.
- Cost Control: Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Agent or similar role within the rail or construction industry.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure projects and industry standards.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Safety Focus: A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
