Site Agent - highways/structures project - Doncaster - permanent role with a growing principal contractor with a strong order book - £50k-£60k+car, pension, healthcare

The Site Agent will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.

Key responsibilities:-
Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised
Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects
Deliver the work safely and without environmental incidents
Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects
Produce and manage the project programme and produce 2 weeks look ahead
Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites
have adequate resources to complete the tasks
Undertake an ambassadorial role representing the business to customers, public and official bodies
Deliver end product to customer satisfaction

Person specification:-
Experience working on a broad section of civil engineering disciplines such as groundworks, highways or RC structures and can demonstrate a clear understanding in these areas.
Experienced at working within an Infrastructure environment, specifically on High speed roads, or on National Highways network.
Knowledge of Temporary works, viaducts, water-proofing, excavations and bridge jacking.
Experience of managing projects up to £4m
