Project SHE Advisor - Redcar - £300-£350 per day (PAYE umbrella - inside IR35) - 12 month contract - major infrastructure project

Your day to day would include:

• Drive to deliver continual SHE improvements across the project
• Ensure SHE procedures are implemented to allow all relevant legislation to be complied with
• Provide support and advice to any part of business unit operations on SHE issues and to ensure that the SHE policies and any local guidance are fully aligned in order that no conflict or confusion exists
• Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are correctly reported and support is provided to investigations in accordance with SHE policies and procedures
• Ensure all SHE lessons learnt are communicated

Qualifications/experience required:-

• NEBOSH General/Construction certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum general cert)
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 Standards
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Experience working understanding of SHE legislation on construction/infrastructure projects
