Job Title: Senior Site Manager

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee all site operational functions on large-scale new build educational facilities in Liverpool. As Senior Site Manager, you will work in unison with a site-based Project Manager and be involved in projects from inception to completion, with a high level of client interaction. The contractor has a strong focus on quality, health & safety, and productivity. We are looking for strong main contractor experience where you have worked for large national Tier 1 contractors on projects over £20m in value.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safety, quality, cost control, and delivery on program to the clients satisfaction
Oversee all site operational functions, working in unison with a site-based Project Manager
Monitor and control site progress, including all costs and schedules
Manage on-site teams, including sub-contractors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and regulations
Attend site meetings with the client and other stakeholders
Liaise with the design team to ensure successful project delivery
Identify potential problems and offer solutions

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum NVQ Level 6 or HNC/degree qualification in construction
SMSTS qualification and a CSCS black/gold card as a minimum and first aid certification
Strong main contractor experience with good tenure of employment
Experience managing large-scale new build educational facilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good understanding of health & safety legislation and regulations
