Our client is looking to expand their team with an addition of a Senior Quantity Surveyor based out of their Huntingdon office ideally with previous residential groundwork experience or civil experience.

Job Role
Responsible to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for all commercial aspects of a project. Provide liaison with the client, PQS and senior staff. Expected to manage and provide development and support to other commercial team members.

Duties
• Commercial responsibility for Commercial function within these areas, working alongside the Contracts Manager and
reporting to the Managing QS.
• Maximise cash flow through timely preparations of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment.
• Review plant and equipment schedules to ensure efficiency of use.
• Develop a strategy for concluding client negotiations

Person Specification
• Computer literate to a high level
• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience is ideal
• Good Working Knowledge of NEC Suite of Documents
• Someone who can work as part of a team and alone and able to hit deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and manage
a small team of site based Quantity Surveyors
