Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary:

£55,000.00 - £70,000.00 Per annum

Job Duties:

1. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. 2. Conduct risk analysis evaluations. 3. Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts. 4. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budget and timeline. 5. Provide advice on cost-effective solutions. 6. Handle variations and claims negotiation. 7. Prepare financial reports and forecasts. 8. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying role in the water civils industry. 

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations. 2. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. 3. Proficiency in relevant software and tools. 4. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Working Conditions:

Working from home and reporting to the Leicester site, with travel across the midlands to various offices.
