Quantity Surveyor 

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum plus bonus
Location: Bristol - site and office based
Type: Full Time -Permanent

A leading main contractor with an impressive track record and a diverse range of commercial projects requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team permanently.
Serving as the main point of contact, you will be instrumental in expanding the company's operational footprint. This role, which involves both site and office duties, offers ample room for career advancement and is ideal for those seeking to elevate their professional trajectory.
You will work closely with other multi disciplined operatives to ensure commercial viability and project deliverability.


Key Responsibilities:
• Reviewing subcontractor quotations and facilitating order placement.
• Preparation of pre-commencement contribution plans.
• Conducting site measurements.
• Reviewing subcontractor applications for payment, issuing relevant payment, pay less notices, and certificates.
• Preparation of monthly cost reports, including forecasting.
• Reviewing and addressing contractual correspondence.
• Submission of final accounts.
• Attendance at site and client meetings when required.
• Exemplifying professionalism as the representative of the company, contributing to business growth where possible.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying (essential)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Construction industry.
• Familiarity with standard forms of construction contracts, including NEC and JCT.
• Proven experience handling various forms of construction in Commercial, Industrial, or Leisure centres, such as Cladding.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient use of MS packages - Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Up-to-date, relevant knowledge of building legislation and the construction industry.
