Job Opportunity - Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor role - Fit out and Refurbishments
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing monthly cost reports
• Assisting Site Manager/Agent in the compilation of subcontractor and materials procurement schedule and Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager and Site Manager/Agent with materials, plant and subcontract procurement• Dealing with subcontractors
• Interim valuations and final accounts
• Liaising with clients
• Inspecting site to maintain awareness of ongoing activities and identifying potential problems, ensuring correct records are kept and maintained on site• Final accounts
• Producing a monthly cost summary for each site, reconciling against the Company Cost File
• Applications/ valuations
• Identifying, pricing and agreeing variations in a timely manner
• Pricing and submitting variations
The Candidate
You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the field of Quantity Surveying, ideally within fit out, refurbishment
BSc in Quantity Surveying is ideal, a HNC / HND is essential or a similar in a commercial related course is essential.
Office / bank fit out / refurbishment project experience
Driver’s licence is essential.
The role
Working from home 3 days then office based (Manchester) with site visits
Rates £400 - £500 inside IR35
