Job Description
Anderselite are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has demonstrated experience in managing and monitoring all costs within building and civil engineering projects.Whilst managing the budget of a project, maximising profits, you will also be
• Calculating costs from launch to completion of the project
• Ensuring quality and high standards are always met
• Managing, as well as mentoring, a small junior team within commercial settings
• Contract Management, ensuring that variations are identified and delivered in time
• Be accountable and concurrently work with Project management in ensuring budget/financial information is managed
• Manage subcontractors’ tenders, processes, and schedule documentation
• Accounting, forecasting, and creating financial reports in line with the company’s policies.

Key Skills and Qualifications
• Understanding of construction and contract law
• Ideally experience within defence projects
• Negotiating skills with clients and subcontractors
• Knowledge within the tendering and procurement processes
• Understanding of construction techniques on specialised projects
• Experience in Risk Management and experience analysing potential threats within the business
• Proven experience of managing teams within commercial settings
• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
• Membership of RICS or ICES or CIOB
• CSCS Card holder
