Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Residential Developer - Wakefield

A leading contractor with an regional network across the country is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in their offices' just outside of Wakefield.

The role will be reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on design & build schemes, usually mixed tenure residential and affordable housing up to £5m in value.  You will have a good knowledge of JCT form of contract along with bespoke contracts.

You will have full commercial contract from precontract through to project delivery and provide a full range of Quantity Surveying and commercial delivery on these projects.

The successful candidate will have ideally worked for a social housing contractor or similar residential development business.

Ideally you should have a minimum of 5 years experience and be educated to degree level.  If you are RICS / MCIOB this would be a distinct advantage although not essential.
