One of the UKs largest construction and property consultancy firms is looking for a Senior project Manager to work with a Blue chip client in the banking sector to be based in and around the city of London.

You will be looking after a number of large & complex projects involving LED upgrades and Energy improvements initially followed by bigger structural refurbishments and fit outs. You will be involved from inception to completion, ensuring that the client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets. You wil be acting in a clients agent capacity so strong experience in this role will be required.

Any experience of working within the Banking sector or on large scale office/commercial redevelopment projects would a huge advantage.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong experience in framework contracts & agreements potentially NEC form of contract.
Experience working as a client-side Project Manager with excellent client facing experience
Experience of liaising with key stakeholders around planning applications and building regulations.
A qualification in a construction related subject.
Experience of running building/construction projects from inception to completion.
Commerically aware and able to value engineer projects with good understanding of current market and trading conditions.
Strong attention to detail with strong background of documenting actions agreed with key stakeholders.
Excellent client facing experience with strong stakeholder management skills

This role is deemed inside IR35, so will be paid via the Umbrella payroll solution. This is a long term appointment for the successful candidate.
