One of the UKs largest construction and property consultancy firms is looking for a Senior project Manager to work with a Blue chip client to be based in the Glasgow area.

You will be seconded into the client working from their offices and taking responsibility for an upcoming large & complex construction project from inception to completion, ensuring that the client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets.

Any experience of working on complex construction and refurbsihment projects within the Banking sector or on large scale office/commercial redevelopment/refurbishment projects would a huge advantage.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong experience in framework contracts & agreements potentially NEC form of contract.
Experience working as a client-side Project Manager with excellent client facing experience
Experience of liaising with key stakeholders around planning applications and building regulations.
A qualification in a construction related subject.
Experience running projects from inception to completion.
Commerically aware with good understanding of current market and tarding conditions.
Strong attention to detail with strong background of documenting actions agreed with key stakeholders.

This role is deemed inside IR35, so will be paid via the Umbrella payroll solution. This is a long term appointment for the successful candidate, developing the concept, submitting a planning application and working with the appointed contractor to deliver the project.
