Senior Planner required: One of the UK’s most high profile design consultancies. The schemes they are involved with are diverse and technically complicated. They are now keen to develop their project output capability by recruiting the Nuclear Industries highest calibre Senior Project Planner to further enhance their status working new Nuclear projects. This role can be based out of Suffolk – Hybrid working is also available. Initial on going contract role.

The Role
To work with project managers to determine project scope
Develop and maintain programme or project schedules and manage the coordination of activities at project level ensuring alignment and integration

Ensure consistent application, effective and timely delivery of time management

Work with Cost Managers to integrate time and cost through cost and resource loaded schedules

Provide expert input at planning workshops

Work with Risk Managers and project teams to identify and drive down risk to agreed plans, ensuring that potential conflicts are understood and make sound proposals to mitigate each risk.

Work with the Change Manager to assess the impacts of change on the schedule and provide constructive but determined challenge to schedule change.

Apply critical path analysis

Complete and close out schedule activities to capture as built data for time and cost benchmarking

About You:
You will have proven experience of working in planning within the Nuclear industry ideally in a consultancy enviroment
Have a high level of commercial awareness
Recognised in specialist discipline ideally with the energy sector
Good understanding of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations within Nuclear industry
Advanced user of P6
