Senior Planner required for an established Civil Engineering business of nearly a century. They provide engineering solutions across a range of civils projects that include flood defence, bridges, water, highways and marine sectors. Due to further project/Framework wins they are looking to recruit a senior planner to based out of Lancashire to work on tenders and claims on power cable projects.

The Role:

Produce tender documentation on power cable projects
planning and monitoring work packages as part of power cable projects
work on EOT claims
producing progress reports on work packages
managing risk plans and developing contingency plans
develop and maintain the contractors plan in accordance to the contract
ensuring the effective and efficient maintenance of the programme
communicate programme performance, time and outcomes in a timely way with stakeholders
identify and allocate of resources and monitoring of budget and cost
develop short term programmes as per the requirements of the team to assist in managing micro elements of the project.
assess the effects of client changes to the contract programme and
advice the management if any delay notices/Early warnings are to be raised for extension of time on the project.

About you:
Have experience of producing robust tender plans for a range of power cable projects
Have experience of collaborative planning
To be a strong communicator able to assist in bringing teams together
Produce programs that include prelims and resource
Have a degree or equivalent in construction or civil engineering
Experience of working with NEC and JCT contracts
Experienced in the use of planning software.
