Rail Planner
£450pd - £500pd (Outside IR35)

About the Role
We are looking for a contract Rail Planner with extensive experience in the UK rail sector to support depot upgrade projects in West Yorkshire. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, ideal for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning activities across signalling, track, and related packages.
• Produce and manage detailed programmes using P6 or MS Project.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and update stakeholders.
• Provide planning input into risk assessments and change control processes.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years' experience in rail infrastructure planning.
• Strong command of planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary programmes.
• Experience working on Rail projects.
• Self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• PTS certification (preferred).
